Review of the festival 2021
In the summer of 2021, Opera Engiadina, in collaboration with Operetta giò'n Plazzetta Ardez, organized a tour with ten performances from Bergell to Ardez with a guest performance at the Arosa Festival. Gioacchino Rossini's first opera "La cambiale di matrimonio" was performed for the first time ever in a Rhaeto-Romanic translation. The production under the title "La spusa chapriziusa" also moved the original plot to the Engadine and played in a funny way with the different idioms and mentalities of the Engadine and the Sursilvans.
