Engadine opera company

The Engadine Opera Company was founded on 25 January 2020 in Pontresina as a non-profit organisation in accordance with ZGB Art. 60 ff. The Engadin Opera Society promotes the art form 'opera' throughout the Engadin and the southern valleys. It supports the events of the Opera-Forum Engiadina as well as the opera and choral concert performances within the framework of the Festival Opera Engiadina. The core of the society is the opera choir Cor Opera Engiadina. The singers in Cor Opera Engiadina perform operas themselves, thereby making an active contribution to keeping opera alive as an art form. There are therefore two forms of membership: singing and non-singing members. Single membership costs Fr. 100, couple membership Fr. 150.- per year. In addition, patronage is possible from Fr. 600.00. Further sponsoring contributions and legal memberships are arranged in consultation with the board.

As a member, you will be regularly informed about our events, receive free admission to all forum events and can pre-book tickets for the festival before the public ticket sale begins. Singing members can also attend the opera choir rehearsals free of charge.
